At the Institute of Applied Dermatology, Kasaragod, we have successfully developed a model of integrated medicine and effectively treat Lymphatic Filariasis, and other causes of lymphedema and brought relief to thousands of patients across India and South East Asia. Our focus of treatment and excellence is Lymphoedema and integrative medicine. The WHO named IAD the world’s leading lymphology clinic in one of its publications. It was started in 1999 as a not-for-profit venture to provide effective treatment for skin diseases. Being sector-specific for skin care treatment, this skin clinic is emerging as the first choice of contact for all long-standing skin problems, applying integrative therapies using a holistic medicine approach. IAD focuses on the Integrative protocol of disease management in various diseases, like Lymphatic Filariasis, Breast Cancer Related Lymphedema, vitiligo, psoriasis and non-healing leg ulcers. An integrative approach combining Modern medicine treatments (Allopathy), Ayurveda and Yoga has helped IAD treat lymphedema and other chronic skin diseases. IAD is the primary destination for the best quality treatment for Lymphatic filariasis, post-cancer secondary lymphedema and breast cancer-related lymphedema treatment in India and South-East Asian countries.
