1. Where is IAD situated?
IAD is in Kerala state’s northernmost district, Kasaragod. It is bordering Mangalore and Sullia Taluks of Karnataka state. The Centre is in Madhur Panchayat, 5 km from Kasaragod municipality, on the way to the famous Madhur Temple and KINFRA industrial park. 3. How do I reach to Kasaragod?
You can easily reach Kasaragod via both train and bus. The nearest airport is Mangalore International Airport (IXE), which is approximately a 1.5-hour drive from Kasaragod.
Our Centre is conveniently located:
• 5 km from Kasaragod New Bus Station
• 8 km from Kasaragod Railway Station
• 65 km from Mangalore Airport
City buses ply every 15 minutes from the Kasaragod bus stand every 15 minutes. Three easy points to get into the city bus are 1) the new bus stand, 2) KSRTC bus stand, 3) Karandakkad at the beginning of Madhur Road.

4. Do you have an accommodation facility for the patients
The Centre is providing day care facilities. So, we don’t have accommodation within the Centre itself, but lodges nearby, as well as hotels and homestays. For more information, you can contact our reception, and they’ll be happy to provide you with the contact details of these accommodations.

5. What are the working hours in IAD?
9 AM-5.30 PM, including Sundays and all holidays and national holidays

6. Is there any holiday for the institution?
No IAD works on all 365 days.

7. Do you have any branches anywhere?
Currently, we do not have any branches outside Kasaragod, Kerala. However, we are planning to open a centre in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, soon

8. Can we meet doctors from all three systems: allopathy, ayurveda & Diet on the same day?
Yes, by making a prior appointment.

9. Can we get medicine by post/courier?
Yes. Courier service for medicines is available at our Integrative Pharmacy Store. Please contact the Pharmacy at 09446449920 for any medicine requirements to place your order. Kindly note that, as per policy, medicines will be dispatched only after payment confirmation.

10. Whether this institution is private or government?
Our institute is a not-for-profit organization. We run on income from treatment services .

11. What kind of treatment do you provide?
We follow a self-care, home-based integrated treatment protocol for Lymphoedema patients, which the IAD exclusively develops. International experts have acknowledged it. It involves the participation of different health systems such as Ayurveda, Allopathy, Yoga and Diet.

12. Which diseases are treated at your institute through integrative treatment?
Lymphoedema, Lymphatic filariasis, Breast Cancer-related Lymphedema, other causes of Lymphedema, lichen Planus, vitiligo, Psoriasis, chronic wounds and other chronic skin diseases using integrative treatment methods

13. Is the treatment surgical?
No

14. Are there any side effects of taking all the systems together?
Patient safety is our top priority during treatment. We ensure the highest standards of care and take utmost caution when prescribing medicines to our patients. Renal, liver, and blood parameters are monitored during every visit to ensure the safety.

15. How long is the stay for treatment?
The treatment duration is typically between 14 to 21 days for patients with lymphoedema or lymphatic filariasis. A single day or two days of treatment is usually sufficient for conditions such as Lichen planus, psoriasis, and vitiligo.

16. Is there any food restriction?
Yes, we provide a recommended diet chart that should be followed after discharge to support the recovery process.

17. Can we claim the Mediclaim policy?
Patients must ensure that all insurance requirements are met and inform the receptionist about their insurance coverage, providing all necessary documents during registration. However, IAD is not affiliated with any insurance company that provides Mediclaim facilities, and we are not responsible for any issues related to the failure to obtain or process insurance claims. If you have referrals to IAD as per the insurance regulatory bodies, the money can be reclaimed by you through your insurance company or referring hospital. You will have to make payment in IAD.
