Wart

A wart (also known as verruca Vulgaris) is an abnormal growth on the skin caused by a virus called the human papilloma virus (HPV). This virus infects the top layer of skin (known as stratum corneum), usually entering the body through Damaged skin producing an elevated, round or irregular shaped growth called a wart. Occasionally these warts disappear spontaneously within months or years.
